“Summer slide” affects students across the socioeconomic spectrum, but imagine a student who is already behind because his parents work two jobs to make ends meet and are unable to help with schoolwork. To that student, summer slide could lead to giving up and dropping out.

Every summer, our Learning Program combats summer slide among kindergartners through 12th grade students who come from low-income, inner-city families, and are at risk of dropping out of school.

Students spend 90 mins each day engaging in academics - working on summer packets, reading and math - with qualified tutors and teachers.

For the remainder of the day, they enjoy arts & crafts, games, bible lessons, field trips, and more!
